Never mind, I see now that you sell a competitors product."ASP"BigTinBoat-
I did read the post clearly...I also saw the Hatsan regulator at the shot show when I was There (I held it in my hand) It was made well. Almost all regulators are adjustable...
My question is:
How do you adjust it? and how can you tell where you adjusted it too?
Does it come with a reg tester?
When I saw it at the shot show, there was no actual markings on it to suggest it has an adjustment scale...
On one of the sites that sells this rifle upgrade out of Ohio says it needs to be "professionally installed"
http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Hatsan_PCP_Regulator_BT65_Class/7342
Maybe you should have asked some questions while you were there............When I saw it at the shot show, there was no actual markings on it to suggest it has an adjustment scale...
So wait - now you're telling us that you "have asked Hatsan reps every question I could regarding their regulators"?"ASP"BigTinBoat-
I am an avid airgunner and tinker a lot with regulators from huma and the competition . I will say this, it is not hard to make a good regulator almost all the competitors in the market make a wonderful regulator...I'm sure the Hatsan reg is good and does the job well. All I wanted you to do is make sure you have a total understanding on how this reg is adjusted. For safety it is reasonable to recommend a customer to an air gunsmith to install the reg if they do not know how. But We also provide instructions on the website on how to install the regulator yourself...where are the instructions for this Hatsan reg? Where are the adjustment marks for the reg?
Again since i am in the business of selling the BEST regulators on the market, please have no doubt that I have asked Hatsan reps every question I could regarding their regulator.... and I feel as though it is a good product.....but, at the end of the day
I AM STILL SELLING HUMA REGS VS. THE COMPETITION!
That's fantastic - so you are admitting that you used deceptive advertising tactics - why would you do that?"ASP"BigTinBoat-
Yes I did...I was merely asking you if you knew the answers. I am not in the business of Advertising for Hatsan since I sell the competition. Also I have not tested their reg yet because it has not come across my hands to put in a rifle. But I did look at it, and i did ask them every question I have asked you....They were kind of tight lipped about at the shot show...But I will tell you this...there is no clear gauge as far as markings go in the reg that will allow you to dial in a specific bar pressure setting. The reg is adjustable (which reg maker in the market isn't adjustable in some way?....answer: they all areWhich regulator on the market allows you dial in a specific pressure setting at home without complicated equipment?.....answer : HUMA and they are the only one.
Again I choose to sell Huma....
Please free to let us know how it works...everyone here is always looking for the best
I wasn't TRYING to find dishonestly, but that is what I found.....not opinion......YOUR written words....go back and read them, you were LYING"ASP"Thats okay Im not forcing you...I was NOT trying to be deceptive...I assumed it needed to go back to PA for adjustment since it needed to be professionally installed. It has no warranty if it adjusted or manipulated at home...it says it right on the PA website. So if you buy this product from PA and adjust it home, you are voiding your warranty.
You will NOT BE voiding your warranty if you buy a HUMA regulator and adjust it at home. In fact you are covered by Air-Superiority Products even if you mess up your regulator...I will reasonably cover it for damage. As long as it is in usable condition to repair. Ask anyone who has bought my reg what type of service I provide. But I feel like you were trying to discover some type of dishonesty in me...that is your opinion...I doubt any of my customers believe that.
Because if the way this forum is configured it's nearly impossible to puts several quotes into one post and I'm not going thru and making separate posts for each thing you wrote."ASP"How was a lying? Were is the dishonesty? I asked Htasan all the questions I asked you...The rep their did not want to elaborate on the topics I brought up. They told me it was user adjustable....but they failed to tell me that it would not be covered if you did so. What use is that? Your argument does not prove that I lied about anything. I suggested that it needed to go back for adjustment because thats what the PA website suggests. Don't try and blame someone for something they did not do. Besides I am a sponsored dealer. I think I am allowed to discuss my products here...if I am not correct on this then I am sorry for that. An I will not do this. But calling me a liar is totally un justified. It is very clear that if you adjust the regulator from PA at home it will void your warranty which suggests that the correct way of adjusting your regulator is by sending it to a professional at PA!
That was the last of the things he was saying. He was saying that it wasn't user adjustable (incorrect) and that he "assumed" it had to be sent back to adjust (incorrect) and that it (user installation) would void the regulator's warranty (incorrect). He is correct in that it doesn't have any "markings", but it does have a "known starting point" of 125bar."Bwalton"What Nick is trying to say and I do understand, that there is no clear markings for adjusting it to a desired bar, As many regs as I have installed and tunes that I have done... it is nice to see the exact bar that you are trying to shoot for. As far as dishonest... he is one of the most honest persons that I know to date. How would you find 137bar on a regulator? Or can you show me where 143bar is? these fine adjustments allows you to hit your desired numbers with ease. As far as warranty goes ppl do not care... As I get more Hatsans sent to me more then PA sells, and if PA sells a Hatsan best believe it will be headed to me at some point of its life. To get into a regulator fuss is non sense.
Hatsan is very good about taking care of ppl, besides this is their very first regulator, So who has tried one? Where is the video? Until then its not worth the debate I suppose.
Huma gives me a 2-3fps es with a zero deviation. Do I need to switch? No.... Hatsan rifles gives me the accuracy that I need, do I need to switch? No
warranties with a Hatsan from PA? If a person needs to send their rifle into PA to install a regulator at 125bar without tuning it for the desired speed that the person wants the rifle to shoot that is good to be a mess...are they going to take the time to do that? I do not think so. Its going to open up a can of warms...Why because if a person like their rifle shooting at lets say 920fps non regulated, well when PA drops a 125bar reg in it its going to go down to the low 800's and accuracy will suffer, So now what do they do? send it back? I think that was the point that he was trying to make... I love you guys both... Have a coke and a smile on me
