Have an issue with my Impact MK1. Please help.

Hello there, I’ve encountered an issue with my impact. Right above the trigger blade and right next to the power wheel, there is something sliding back and forth when I point the muzzle up and down. I know some people might say it’s not an issue, however I can’t adjust my power wheel without the muzzle pointing up. Point me in the right direction folks. Thanks. I’ve linked a video.

Easy fix???? Its normal for that piece to slide around when the gun isn't cock. Nothing is wrong with it so how do you fix something if it isn't broken? Like above, its the free floating hammer that making the noise when u tilt it up and down. The black peice is what adjust the hammer spring for more power. Leave it alone before u actually break something.

Well, replacing that spring guide with a brass hammer solves the issue. I watched Ernest Rowe’s disassembly video. It’s just a matter of having the right tools.

I think youre hearing the hammer sliding back and forth, as mentioned above its a free floating hammer. So gravity affects it, not sure how replacing the spring guide with a brass hammer will do anything. Do you mean brass hammerweight? Are you wanting to remove the free floating hammer action?

Yes sorry, I meant to say replacing the hammer weight with a brass one not the spring guide lol. Although I may have to replace the spring guide if it is vibrating, however I’ve experienced no issues with it vibrating.
