Put 60 rounds through it this morning and nothing broke. It's only half ugly if it shoots!
Not too ugly?
Accurate enough, from a bipod at 40 yards I can punch quarter size holes. If it's really really accurate, you can get away with a lot, ...but I don't know about that!
Picture?Printed a tactical stock and purchased a butt stock. Main body of the stock (red) took 5 or 6 printings before I got the right material and printer combination (HS Petg on the Flashforge 5M). The grip was 3 printings (TPU 98A). The tube was just PLA.
The body has some weak spots, mainly the trigger guard. I may look into beefing that up.
Overall it seems sturdy enough and is about 16 oz lighter than the Hatsan stock. Could have saved a bit more with a non adjustable butt stock.
But thar is one ugly rifle, which to be honest was one of the objectives.
Got one uglier?
Up thread a bit, I posted the thumbnails since the full size are only showing for some people.Picture?

Just starting out at home a couple weeks ago, which is all leading into a huge project at work. As the "senor" engineer it falls to me to figure out all the details, contact the salesdroids, make up the plan, check if there is a ROI, if yes, then turn it all over to the boss.In California as long as you are having fun and it puts a smile on your face, you're good. It's not about what the Jones have.
Besides, we all get a participation award.
Sounds like you got a handle on the 3d stuff. it definitely better than what I can do, that's for sure.
