Have you ever pre-ordered and prepaid for a gun and started to have doubts?

When it arrives, I may leave it unopened until I read a few reviews from others. If they are not favorable, I’ll sell it unfired to someone who missed the preorder and wants one. Now they're even selling custom accessories for a gun that hasn't even shipped. I just keeps getting more ridiculous.

The Daystate is so far out (October at least they say) it's not even on the radar screen yet,and like the Leshiy 2, I understand the production delays due to Covid. I do not understand the lack of information and details on, or the operation of the guns. It’s like paying thousands up front for a mystery gun. The manufacturers seem to be saying “just send us thousands of dollars, and someday we will send you something we believe you will like”.

I think everytime I preorder a gun, I do all the research a person should do and then it takes so long for the gun to get here that there is already a new "better" model coming out even sometimes by the same manufactuer. Or I always have regrets about not buying the best a manufactuer has to offer but going to maybe the next level down to save a few hundred dollars and then fighting whether or not to change my mind all the way until the gun arrives.

Simply STOP Preordering and the Manufacturers / Resellers will STOP Selling what they don't have to sell!
