Have you ever

Have you ever been target practicing and you change guns or change ammo or change position or change shooting support or whatever and that first shot is dead nuts bullseye, then every shot after is not, this happens so often that the Great AirGunner of the Sky has to be responsible, is he getting a chuckle or encouragement, what do you think.
He is actually laughing out loud. People near where this happens think its thunder.

And yes. Its happened to me often 🤮

Every day that I shoot. I also enjoy threads where the gun gets the blame.

I do cold shot practice all the time. The rifle sits on the bench and when ever I walk by it I stop and take a shot.
When it’s a miss, it’s me.

Other times that cold shot will be off so I will continue shooting and all is well.
It’s always a me problem.

I did that on Saturday.
I had just put a new target up ( cardboard with small dark green marker dots on )
So i walked back to my rifle, loaded a new magazine and sent 1 shot flying, and i couldn't see where the damn thing went, until i noticed the little ( about the same size as the .177 i am shooting ) dot on the cardboard had changed from dark green to black as i hit it dead on and punched a hole.

That on 80 M made me lean back with a big smile on my face.
And i was "just" shooting my Vulcan 3 with its modest 500 mm barrel.
Needless to say the subsequent 4 shots to that dot, ruined it, so while the paper still hang there at the range i wont take a picture of it the next time i go shooting, you will just have to take my word for it.
