Have you found that “ One Airgun”?

Yep...Since '19, Taipan Veteran standard .22. If you never owned one I would put a type 1 Vet at the top of your "to try" list. The trigger and build quility are stellar. I've tried a bunch of different brands...spared no expense...Taipan Veteran is my gun/brand...Look atView attachment 530028View attachment 530030 my past posts or ask my friends...I know better than to say they are indestructible but I'm still waiting for a problem with my three...and I shoot 'em, a lot.
Note ten shot group off bench at 55 yards with the black laminate example, fliers to the left was slight wind.
Just joking but man you obviously spend more on airguns than targets lol
I collect blank paper from my junk mail , and put it to good use for targets by making red sharpie dots on them.
I love your 3 airguns very nice , but don't know what they are , and I like the photogenic feline .

Either of these guns. Sold both but live you learn. Looking for another .177 redwolf

That would normally be an easy question being That i have sold the ones that i don't have a reason to keep them but now it comes down to the 2 i have found many reasons to keep not just one but both. AEA Challenger 357 side lever, yes heavy but a power house and a .308 Texan with a Mad Dog stock, both long range shooters. Well over 300 yards yet they have 2 very different personalities.

Interesting to read about people's personal airgun preferences. Wish that everyone would include the prime use of their choice to give a bit more perspective of what that airgun would excel at.

I enjoy various disciplines and have a favorite ONE for each and, maybe, a couple of extra airguns that I'm very fond of.

But my favorite airgun for my favorite discipline - Plinking - (and yes, I consider plinking to be a discipline) is a .22/500 mm FX Crown MK2. The Crown ticks all the boxes for me.

That being said, I plink with all my airguns, from 10 meter target ones to my bench rifles. 😁

Cheers!

All very nice. But for me. Of these three. On looks alone would be the top one. Or farthest one away. The Bobcat?
FX Boss. (.30) BTW, the stocks for the Boss & the Royale (middle gun in picture) are interchangeable. Bobcat is "nearest" in picture.

So, I have been on sort of a quest. It has been in the search of that one gun. You know the one you would keep if you had to get rid of all your other airguns.
It has been an expensive quest for me so far have I bought and sold about 25 pcp’s and seven springers looking for the one. I currently have 15 pcp guns all higher end guns. I have had $800.00 guns up to $2700.00 guns but I just can’t seem to find the one gun I would keep above all others.
My question to you all is have you found that “one gun” ? The one you would keep if you could only have one.

As I write this today I still am torn between four of my current pcp’s. Not sure which I would choose and would not be sure if any are the one. Maybe there is still one out there I have not thought to try. I do lean heavily towards PCP airguns. Springers are just not for me.

So if you have found that one for you post a photo here and if you want share why it is the one for you ( springers welcome). I am hoping there is something I have not tried yet that could be the one for me.

I know this question has been asked before but it seems like there are constantly new airguns being manufactured and released.

EDIT 1/18@ 9:45am.

I have most of the popular FX airguns, Taipan, Edgun, Airmaks, Brocock and have had many other brands. But as my collection stands right now I think it would be between my Taipan Mutant and my Crown MKII with the Crown having the advantage. View attachment 530252Having said that looking at the replies to this thread there are more airguns I need to try.

Leshiy 2: Backyard / Truckgun plinking and pesting. Compact and stealthy for covert ethical missions. I'm giddy about compacts and don't find much enjoyment in bench rigs. A semi or self-indexing mechanism is my preference for multiple critters or follow-up shots. Handy piece of kit to grab and go as needed. There are just so many sweet setups, but doubt my earning abilities and responsibilities could survive a collection. Its great to see other AN members and other social media platforms share their experiences, however, gives me a lot of wantsies, must havies, ... ya all know the internal struggles!

If if can have just 1 PCP Pistol. Hands down it’s the GK1. Haven’t looked at another pistol since.

Those G10 grips really compliment the carbon-fiber tanks. NICE!

I have a set of those very grips sitting in a drawer, and wish I had a second GK1 for them so I wouldn't have to choose "pistol, or carbine?"

Had this thread been about one airgun to do it all, this is what I'd have posted-
