Having trouble filling my Bullboss

I just received yesterday my first PCP rifle ever. It’s a Hatsan Bullboss. I tried filling up the tank today and couldn’t get it to go past 50 bar. I’m using a ToAuto A2 PCP air compressor. As far as I can tell I’m doing everything by the book and correctly. It does seem like there is some air escaping from the fill probe once the air gets to 50 bar. The o-rings on the probe are new and look fine. But it seems like there isn’t a strong enough seal and allows air to get past those o-rings. It’s the only thing I can see that might be going on. 


Anyway, I’m hoping to get some feedback and learn what I may be doing wrong or if I have defective reservoir, fill probe, or compressor. I’m hoping it’s just a newbie, kook-mistake.

not many places it can leak .. theres a valve at both ends of the tank and orings on the caps ... alot of times an empty tank takes a blast from a bottle to seal the valves .. id try skeetsin alittle silicone oil in the probe hole and see if it helps .. be sure its silicone oil ...

Is it the Hatsan fill probe? Maybe put some teflon tape on the threads where the foster fitting screws on to the probe.

Don’t know what brand of foster fitting you have on your fill probe but that’s where mine Would leak And will feel like it’s coming from around the Fill Probe itself.All I had to do is tighten it up some more. Every time I had problems filling mine where it wouldn’t fill to a certain pressure it was always at the fittings.

Thanks again for the feedback guys! Much appreciated. Just successfully filled my Bullboss. Just needed the Teflon tape and it did the trick. Should have been a no-brainer on my end but it is what it is. I’m just glad I didn’t have faulty equipment.
