Hawke 4X32 adjustment question

I'm fairly new to the air rifle world. I have a Hawke scope on my notos for some pest control. I also setup a little range for fun.
Lets get techincal here
The range is 13.4 yards, and my rat station is 7.6 yards from my deck. Its alittle bit if a downward angle, but that shouldn't matter? unless im not thinking correctly.

If i zero the scope in for the 13 yards, for me to be on center for the target at 7.6 is 43 clicks down. Doesn't it sound like quite alot?

thanks. sorry if its a stupid question haha

Hey man,

1.5 inch rings, and 21 grain pellets!
These are just rough numbers, so it seems to track

Also, great scope. I love mine

Ahh ok! Thanks! I just wanted to make sure it wasn't out of the ordinary. I guess it has to move alot because its such a close distance?
Yeah. The higher the scope the more pronounced. I have to set up my P35 for a pest at 21”, I just had to create a whole new profile in the pard scope. Not enough reticle marks to do a hold. Bullpups suffer bad.
We have to remember the rifles shoot an arching path.
