Hawke – taking care of the little things

Bought a new Hawke scope. Saturday a week ago finally had time to mount and zero in. Went well, liking the scope. However when done noticed Hawke medallion had gone missing from battery cap. Not found after extensive search. Just cosmetic I know, nonetheless disappointed. I like to take care of my stuff.

Emailed Hawke support that Saturday evening relating the event, acknowledging cosmetic nature of issue and inquiring if a replacement medallion was available.

The following Monday morning at 7:19 AM received the following email response.

Hi Rich,
Thanks for telling us about this - of course we'd be glad to send you a replacement emblem. Can you confirm your mailing address please?

A week later new battery cap received.

Regardless of company or individual, things happen. I judge not the fault but the response. CS easily could have given low priority or blown of as petty complaint. They didn’t. Kudos to Ben P. and to Hawke.
