OK so ya got a air rifle that's shooting a 22g. 25cal. pellet at 750 fps. safe to say if it was a 22cal. 14.5 g. should clock 800 fps?thanks.

If I understood the question That things scared me), and some really loose cal v cal math closer to 900fps for the 14.5g.

Currently: 22.0gr @ 750fps = 27.5fpe
Asking: 14.5gr @ 800fps = 20.6fpe
The .22 has 25% less area for the pressure to act against, so for a rough calculation we can scale down the current 27.5fpe accordingly to 20.6fpe…precisely the number you came up with.
