Head shot thread

Both within 1.30 secs of each other. Some dry corn on the cob and suet brings the animals to me. Both notos'd. Rabbit 23yrds. Chippy 18yards. But had to thread the needle. Lots of brush to weave to reach and touch the lad.

The second one showed only a half inch of Target, and you threaded the Needle! Good shootin!
Thanks, tripod helps. Just got this one for about $50 bucks on amazon. I was looking at the BOG Deathgrip tripod but with the ball head it's over $350 which I think is ****ing ridiculous. So far I like it but you can see in the video there was alot of recoil. I had a very light hold on the rifle just letting it rest on the tripod so I'll try a firmer grip next time out so there isn't so much recoil.

Did the Ball swivel come with it?
It did https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CW65DPCS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title ....I probably would have gotten this one if I had seen it, I like the ball swivel lock on this one better than the one on the tripod I have... https://www.amazon.com/Professional-Aluminum-Spotting-Tripods-Monopods/dp/B0C616TP39?ref_=ast_sto_dp but I've had it a few weeks now and seems to do the job. Not saying it's as heavy duty as the Bog Deathgrip but for the price it's pretty damn sturdy. I also needed an adapter for my rifle because it had has the picatinny rail not the arca https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBZ5KZL7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Got one a few minutes ago. I love having a camera on the feeder.

That’s my Concept Lite XR 22 with Pard DS35-50mm shooting 18gr on the low TP setting, so 500 fps 10 fpe.

How is accuracy shooting that slow? I was thinking about getting a .177 for backyard plinking because I want to keep it under 10fpe but if I can get good accuracy from a .22 shooting slow enough to get 10fpe or lower like you're shooting I'd rather get the .22, much more versatile if I want to get it out in the field and bump up the fpe. For backyard I'd be shooting about 20 yards so if I can get dime sized groups at 20yds shooting slower velocity I may just get a .22 pcp

I pop the 300mm liner in the dreamline and turn the tp to low setting. 570fps/11fpe with 15.9s my internals are meant for a .25.. so I get a little more juice out of .22 as far as velocities. With .25 its down to 425 fps on low/min HS/PW 1 at 100bar right at 10fpe with 25.39

How is the accuracy shooting that slow, I'd only be in backyard so 15-20 yds but would like to see dime size groups at 20

With .22 just fine 10-12fpe. In fact... Just for you. Just done. Top 15.9 JSB @ 595fps (current tune wasn't at min hst when I closed the TP and dropped the PW)
Bottom 5 shots 18.13 jumbo heavy at 533
This is my 13.1y basement setup for tuning and tinkering.

The Concept Lite Xr I sold would do it. And as I went down the TP settings the pellets constantly would drop lower. My Atomic low to setting is around 5-6 fpe. The pellet I end up choosing for that rifle will be the best grouping at high and low. I like to do night rodent pesting on low power.
