Literally less than 10 minutes ago. Using a Benjamin PROD, JSB Hades .22 15.89 gr. Chronographed consistently at 650fps (2k PSI), 15 yards. A thunderstorm rolled by and the rabbit hunkered at the trunk of the tree. Straight through the eye and out the other. I'm really surprised and impressed. This rabbit has eating a lot of greens from my garden but no more.

This tread has jinxed my vital shooting. Took a zipmunk today at right around 80 yards with some wind. I hit about an inch left of where I was aiming and unfortunately had another topic candidate.

Another one with my 22 cal Krait and Hades. Slight quartering away at 35 yards. What I really like is the Hades didn’t exit

The first litter of groundhogs are being driven offfrom momma, and are roaming around looking where to dig their new burrow. Well, I put a stop to that foolishness with the FX Maverick VP .30cal shooting 50gr H&N Slug II at 930fps.

Metal detector, generally about five feet beyond the corpse. If you have a good expanding slug or pellet, they are easier to find than ones that don’t. I’m not a paper puncher so slugs that don’t mushroom get ruled out no matter how good they shoot. Mainly for effectiveness and partly for safety.

Been using 60gn hollow point slugs I make on the "Thor Press", seem to expand pretty quickly

I'm very happy with slugs it produces. I'm actually shocked how well they work. I definitely had my doubts. It feels great to make my own slugs that run even better than the H&N's. Highly recommended.
