35 yards with a Barracuda hunter 27.47 grain! DRT🎯😝

Literally less than 10 minutes ago. Using a Benjamin PROD, JSB Hades .22 15.89 gr. Chronographed consistently at 650fps (2k PSI), 15 yards. A thunderstorm rolled by and the rabbit hunkered at the trunk of the tree. Straight through the eye and out the other. I'm really surprised and impressed. This rabbit has eating a lot of greens from my garden but no more.

How did you even find the slug
Metal detector, generally about five feet beyond the corpse. If you have a good expanding slug or pellet, they are easier to find than ones that don’t. I’m not a paper puncher so slugs that don’t mushroom get ruled out no matter how good they shoot. Mainly for effectiveness and partly for safety.

Been using 60gn hollow point slugs I make on the "Thor Press", seem to expand pretty quickly
