Heat shrink tubing?

I see your ready to make yourself crazy. So your up to a good start, however, you can change the harmonics if you really think you have to. I doubt you will see any change in your grouping by using heat shrink. If you really want to get into it, buy a good tuner like the ones used in rimfire bench rest. You can also buy a weight set so you can added or subtract weight as needed. A good tuner runs around $150. Weights are usually extra. One thing to remember, is you will find the right pellet for your rifle with the tuner, but once you have used up those tins and have to buy more pellets, you will start the tuning process all over again. In rimfire benchrest, shooters will buy test lots of ammo. They find the right ammo and then they buy as much of that particular lot number as they can afford. Take a look at the benchrest rifles currently being used by airgun benchrest. I haven't seen very many using air rifle benchrest shooters worrying about the harmonics problems. After installing the tuner then the fun begins and the headache starts. Most people I know uses a system called the "Hope Well Method". It's a very simple process. I shoot for fun and all this becomes more like work. I find the pellet my rifle likes and buy as much of that as possible.
Good luck.
