I have a Beeman RS2 with only the .177 barrel. What would be the heaviest recommended pellet for squirrels at 10 yards? I am planning to use pointed or domed pellets.

I have shot the 10gr and the 16gr JSB 177 pellets in my Vulcan #2 , If I am hunting with my 177 sparrows and doves are my prey, Not enough tree squirrels around here to shoot YET.
Do not over look the 8 gr Polymag, 940 FPS and the Polymag explodes , With the 177 shot placement is number ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My .177 RWS 34 shoots the RWS Supermag pretty well. At ten yds. a head shot hits them like the hammer of Thor. They don’t go anywhere. It’s about 9.4 gr. wadcutter.
