I've been fiddling with the tune on my FX Dreamlite TAC .22 cal. w/ 500 mm barrel. To boost slug speed, I've added a Huma Twin hole transfer port, a pin probe and dual plenums. With 20.2/.217 NSA slugs and the reg. set at 130 bar, hammer wheel set at max, and the pre-load set at 15 mm, I'm getting over 950 fps. This is over 100 fps increase over stock. My goal is longer range target shooting (150+ yards).
During my parts spending spree I picked up the heavy hammer spring. How will the heavy hammer spring affect my tuning efforts? Will it further enhance performance or just waste air? None of my settings are carved in stone, so I am open to tuning suggestions.
