hello everyone, new to the site and was told that i may be able to find an answer to my question.
so here i am.
i recently had purchased a Oneleaf NV500 Eagle scope for Nite time pesting.
my question is my M4 has don't quote me on this i believe a 20-moa rail, so the scope is slightly lower in the front.
is there a way to level it to the barrel? shims, or maybe a different mount, I'm awaiting a return email from Oneleaf.
or will the scope make up for it, i have always leveled my scopes to my barrels

The angle is to help compensate for dropoff of our slow projectiles at distance. No need to fix it; it is intentional and helpful. It helps you to NOT overtravel the vertical turret compensating for scope height and drop off. Long range firearm shooters buy angled rails also. Regular firearm shooters don't bother. Level rails are easier tonmake and cheaper (most off the rack firearms).

that is all i had to hear thank you very much makes sense.
i just didn't want to mount it and somebody say there was another mount to be used
thank again very much.
