Hello Dark Side!

Hey All, just registered after spending much time here looking around. Got my first PCP recently, just shot it today. A slightly, lightly used Daystate Huntsman Regal XL in .22 caliber. Pulled a 6X SWFA off a 6.5 Creedmoor, put her on the Daystate and think I'll leave it at that for awhile.

Wow! It's almost like cheating! I filled it up to 210 BAR (with a Hill pump) and shot 35 rounds zeroing and grouping some different pellets. It would have taken me a couple months to shoot this many really good groups with my Beeman R9. All the buyer's remorse I've had for the last week waiting for a chance to shoot is now officially gone.

So, I got a bunch of felt cleaning pellets. Do these things really work? Do I need to put something on them, like a light oil? (Get ready, I'll have many more questions, I'm sure)

Regards,

I also have the Huntsman and it's my favorite PCP out of all my PCP's. I use a combination of a weed Wacker line and a fishing line. What I did I heated a needle and drilled a small hole at one end of the weed Wacker line. Loop the fishing line, thread the ends through the hole you made, and tie the ends so the fishing line stays put. Make both the weed Wacker line and the looped fishing line 4 inches or more longer then your barrel.
