Hello from Portugal

It will be here soon 😉

This weekend, is time to get the compressor out of it´s box, top it up with oil, install the little cotton filter inside its housing.

Install circulating pump, with destilled water and antifreeze, I am not going to use pure water, to avoid rusting the compressor head.

Power it up and check for leaks, autostop performance.

After all that, will install the heavy duty 3 stage moister and oil filter, from Tuxing, and again, check for leaks.

And lets wait the door bell rings soon.

Hello,

It is here,

What a master piece.

Serial in the 41xx range

It came empty of air and with the bleed screw open. Black magazines. The smallest power puck installed, and all the other ones in the biggest size.

Two 0.2mm power jets, and no markings in the factory regulator set pressure.

This weekend will run it trough the cronograph.

Houston we have a problem.

After setting the compressor to autostop at 250 bar, I started filling and it stoped on the disired pressure.

Bleed the high pressure side, and after that the other one.

Took the fill probe out, and let the pump running to cool the compressor head.

Checked the first filter (the one that came with the compressor) for moisture.... And nothing inside.

Then I started to hear some noises from the 3 stages tuxing filter. Ok, lets open it. I was unable to unscrew the end caps from it, only by hand. I went to get a spanner and I heard a burst of air from it. It was under pressure.

After that it did unscrew by hand..... To find this inside.

Yes, maybe.

The outside diammeter of the plexiglass is a little shorter than the inside diammeter of the filter, if poor air flow inside it, it will make the plexiglass expand.

The store that sold me this filter, got this photo, and with no questions asked they just send a new filter free of charge.

Now, after a long wait for the L2, I will be waitting for the new one to arrive, 1 more week is no big deal.

I will not fill the gun only with a basic filter. Even having a costume made moisture filter in the compressor intake, but I will not take any chances.

I would think a moisture filter should be more effective on the high pressure side (much higher volume water to air ratio, slower flow) but the final filter will have less moist to handle so can only be better

..and then there is this: I use a Altaros Booster and feed it with 8 Bar from a 75HP shop compressor, the Altaros only have a moisture filter (also plexiglass) on the intake side, I tested the quality of the air on cold glass, no condensation whatsoever, never find any signs of water in my guns

Talk about waiting :)

Yes you are rigth. Almost one year to get your precious. And me complaining about 4 moths.

The setup I have in my HG compressor is:

The intake air has got a home made filter with silica gel to prevent any moisture getting in.

The high pressure side has got the basic cotton tampon that is standart with the HG, I will be using this one, to prevent water and oil to get in the more expensive one. After that filter basic filter I have got a 3 stage Tuxing filter....that one exploded internally.

Hello again,

Nice news, this is the best gun I have ever owned.... until now, 1000 shots with no issues.

Acurracy is something special, I think there were no missed sparows until 40 meters, after that range I still have to tune my optics.....Doves just drop on the spot.

5 mags from 300 to 130 bar.

I have chrono tested it, and it gives me 24 joules shot after shot with the Hades Diablo 0.670g....about the 130 bar it starts to go down, but still usable until the 80 bar pressure....but with alot of power loss.

No regrets what so ever
