new to the forum, hope I can learn more.

i have 2 problems with my Hatsan Mod 125 .25 cal.

1st My stock just broke in half after about 300 rounds. Where can I get a replacement?



2nd i would like to change the spring to a gas piston. Where can I

get a gas piston

Welcome to AGN!

You need to return gun to the vendor, and get a purpose built nitro piston gun. Not many options to change the power plant.

I have seen some YouTube videos on how to change to a gas piston. Didn't seem that difficult

Seems odd that a stock would just break like that ! Looks like the rifle took a spill on cement or asphalt.

Nope, fired about 40 rounds during the holidays and just now picked it up from the rack.

That looks brutal! I have a mod 125 in .25 that I have converted to NP. I am using a 170 bar ram. If you go any higher you just get a lack of accuracy coupled with some serious cocking effort. I am in Europe so have no idea about a replacement stock in the US but I do have sources in Europe where I know they are available. Let me know if you want the details after you deal with Hatsan in the US. The only things you need to convert to NP is the piston itself & depending on which one you get, a locating washer/disk to hold the rod in situ on the rear plug. I have the type that fits the other way around so it has a flat plate/disc on the end sits inside the piston & keeps it centered. I got it from a place in Poland but they ship worldwide I believe.

Hi, I tune hatsan's and that looks like you got more that a broken stock problem. By the looks of the stock my guess is that the piston seal needs replaced and possibly also the breech seal? The recoil on that 125 had to be out of this world ! If you would like to get more information please contact me at [email protected]
