Help, How can I connect this air venturi fill whip to this 4500 psi blue filter do I need an adapter or should I screw it in?.

  1. Need help am trying to run this air venturi dn2 1/8th bspp fill whip from my filter as shown in the pictures, As im screwing it in by hand im starting to feel a bit of resistance so I stop, I dont know weather this is the right thread size, I dont want to damage the threads, Is there an adapter to make this work.? I dont want to have to buy a new fill whip.

Confusing between Delrin and Dowty style male foster end adapters, I bought two of each on eBay. (Hint: Delrin style come with Delrin washers, Dowty Seal won't.) In the center of photo, the installed (shorter) male foster end adapter is a Delrin, the longer adapter (un-installed) in front of it is for a Dowty Seal. That longer one will fit perfectly on your fill whip end. WM

Yeah I see now the gold one is flat on the end the other is taperes to a small hole.

Wow I just ran a diffrent fill whip an it fit it had the same flat end it unscrewd it off my four uncles an amazon cheap chinese pump the fill whip connecting to the pump uses a delrin seal as well it doesent taper of.

Good Job, I've mixed and matched a few parts from my Chinese HPA handpump, even borrowed gauge when Yong Heng original started leaking air. WM

Now you know two kinds of sealing systems found on Chinese HPA compressors. The white "donut" Delrin washer that sits in the hole base for flat-ended parts to tighten against and the metal/rubber Dowty Seal that seals when tightened between two flat surfaces. (No matter how they attach the male and female 8mm Quick Disconnects will function together.) WM

I placed an order on https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Qu...refix=m10+1+adapter+pcp,tools,216&sr=1-3&th=1 the 1/8th bspp should work all good as the fill whip is 1/8th bspp
