Help, How can I connect this air venturi fill whip to this 4500 psi blue filter do I need an adapter or should I screw it in?.

  1. Need help am trying to run this air venturi dn2 1/8th bspp fill whip from my filter as shown in the pictures, As im screwing it in by hand im starting to feel a bit of resistance so I stop, I dont know weather this is the right thread size, I dont want to damage the threads, Is there an adapter to make this work.? I dont want to have to buy a new fill whip.

My compressor never came with an Owner's Manual, so maybe that's how they label the pressure release screw on the compressor side where fill whip attaches. My apologies never heard anything referred to as oil bleed screw but doesn't mean manufacturer didn't call it that. Filling tanks and guns is different, I can only share my SOP on filling guns. To repeat, at least for a second, I open each pressure release screw, one at a time, during the 3-5 minute fill time. I guess, if I ever picked up an SCBA tank, I'd maybe do the same, every 3-5 minutes during the longer fill time.
What how do you fill guns dont you run all those tubes it has to up those to pressure before it even goes in gun right? so all that wasted air.

Yes, all my filters have to fill up before pressure builds to open one-way valve in gun air reservoir, still complete process takes 3-5 minutes, even with my 3-second pressure release valve openings (3 valves @ one second each.) Yong Heng fills fast, this isn't a problem, some install one-way valves to hold pressure in filters, I never saw the need for the extra expense, also prefer the simplicity of system pressurized/system not pressurized. Damn I cant believe dat your only runnin to guns no bottles, The yong heng is very strong compared to a handpump, I can feel a decent little breeze of air that it makes, handpump is a quick little spurt of air not constant or anywhere near the pace. Im looking for a cheap hourmeter now I need to track the time, I always forget the stupid stopwatch im caught up in making sure to start it with no pressure an finish it bleeding everything just getting use to using it. Any good links to hour/vibration meter would be much appreciated.

Bought my Wireless Vibration Hourmeter on eBay, from seller, runleadershop, on 10/15/22 for $14.99. Some are less expensive but need to be wired up and screwed in. I get the double-sided tape, wireless ones, sealed three-year battery, just pull paper from tape and stick on compressor, very easy. Here's a photo of back of cardboard it came with, shows different features.
