Need help am trying to run this air venturi dn2 1/8th bspp fill whip from my filter as shown in the pictures, As im screwing it in by hand im starting to feel a bit of resistance so I stop, I dont know weather this is the right thread size, I dont want to damage the threads, Is there an adapter to make this work.? I dont want to have to buy a new fill whip.

That's why we are all here isn't it? Fun and learning🤔🤗🎩🤙
Though yall are experts but I guess we all learning together haha, I got into pcp aug 2022 got wood stock ava 22 from pyramid air was shooting low despite maxing out on the 34 mil tube arken so I knew sumthin aint right, returned that defect got a bullpup ava bought the $10 gun test from pyramid air an all good. Started with gamo varmint then swarm mag gen 2 .22 then got bullpup avenger few mods to it to stabalize that barrel bolt probe modification an the gun works all good suits a lot of my needs a little heavy sumtime I feel like mine is 11.5 lb with my magpul bipods arken epl4 6-24 accesories bubble level flip ups all that an sling as well as donny fl fx suppresor, as well as 20 MOA Elevated Picatinny rail, 13 Slot, Black, Aint the lightest an most compact of runs but its cheap I can knock stuff down up to 100 yards easy with crossman hollows I dont get any noticible poi change between day to day uses an stuff, the ava is versatile due to power level hammer spring but power is limited to around low 60 ish an thats max with opened up valve an barrel port an Im not about to do that on my 22 bullpup I dont even know a video of bullpup teardown so im limited to around 53 fpe or sumthin around there I need more power to knock down somthing like a coyote at a long range 80+ yard effectively planning on getting another airgun sometime like aea maybe I have a 6.8 liter tuxing I bought 8 months ago an a 3 liter coming from acecare all I need now is guns got a compressor got the bottles Looking for guns that are compact and have precision as well as keeping weight low an gun compact like a backpack gun so I could rock that thing the mountains an knock down some duck or squirils at a far range, or even coyotes to help out the deer in the area, might wait though every year they come out with eather something new or something better than the previous version dont wanna break the bank eather with my 2nd pcp.

I'd use a male foster adapter to screw on hose "Dowty" washer end, then re-install female foster in filter. Male foster adapter looks like one in photo, they come in Delrin and Dowty sealing styles. WMView attachment 354016
I dont know what I was thinkin buying this adapter I dont know amazon easy returns an, But I realized I need the 1st one down to the left like this, Should I still keep the other one maybe might come in handy my fill whip is both female ends now. https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Qu...p+adapter+male+quick+disconnec,aps,135&sr=8-3

Bought two male foster fittings each, 1/8 NPT and 1/8 BSPP, just to have in my PCP supplies, as well as a 10-pack of Delrin Washers. Doing it all over I might have bought a pair of the 10mm fittings, too. In setting up my Yong Heng fill station I laid everything out as I wanted, then figured out what hoses and adapters I needed. Purchased hoses with the appropriate foster fittings already installed so when they arrived, I snapped the system together. Like you, I needed a double end male foster fitting (pictured earlier) to attach female foster fittings together in several locations. Bought a 3-pack off eBay for $9. WM

Aint no biggy I got prime one day shipping it comes tomorrow placed order, I could also go the male to male adapter but I dont know thats an extra point where it is not needed, why use 2 adapters for the same job when 1 does it.
Agreed, several ways to set things up, found I needed a long hose so used a double male foster fitting to attach two hoses I already had together, saving having to buy a longer one. WM

3 pack off ebay what link me that, But Yeah I also was getting a mental picture in my head of the setup, So far I aint buy no gold filter I dont know the bank is feeling a little better🤣 but someday I will im just tryna figure out which sieve I need 3a 4a 13x, I heard some guy on ukairgun forums say 13x you waste the potential of your sieve as it absorbs c02 all we are targeting ir moisture, we aint diving with our air , An so that got me restarted on which one to get I was bout to get the 13x, But um for now I mean I got a blue one an I filled it with sieve ive been handpumping, I just run a foam pad not the cotton ones just a small foam one little less than a half inch thick an pack that with sieve from my hillpump an I dont run the full legnth of the cigaret filter otherwise I wouldnt be able to screw in the blue cap I cut it just to the legnth where is sits flat an a couple silica beeds before closing when they are really cracked up I know its time to change sieve, But yea ups got my copper filter just a few miles near me so its coming monday an fedex got my yong heng its coming monday or tuesday, Gotta run to home depot husky synthetic oil, a lid for my 5 gallon bucket lid that amazon charges 8 dollars for no way im paying for a piece of plastic these sellers are full of it need a lid so the water doesent get all contaminate with particles an all that so I can reuse the water as I added watter wetter to it, seco lube is on the way monday or tuesday as well, the fitting is coming tomorrow, I got a tripod on amazon an zipties I was thinking of ziptieing the copper filter an the gold filter on this tripod so it holds em upright, Might return it I dont use it for the setup but I think I might Il see when the heng comes in, all the research an man I come a long way I just never really wanted to dive in cuz I knew its a rabbit hole probably an it is kinda all the research I done oil, water , keeping moisture out all that stuff takes a bit, imagine wouldnt it be so much less complex if moisture wasn't a thing then all there is to it is cotton filter to stop dust but it gets complicated due to moisture, Makes us build our own systems depending on our region like some guy in arizina all he might need is a blue filter an a cotton before that an bam his air is dry but for me I gotta get a moisture oil filter fill whips adapters an working it all out an stuff, a fun ass hobby though I gotta say once you get behind the scope an connect its all worth it.

Hey man I still am a little confused about the oil bleed like what is that for do you bleed it first before the mositure or after does it matter?, I know I should run the compressor for 5 minutes when I first get it without any pressure, And how long do you run before starting to fill 30 seconds or 1 minute?.

Marksman,
Easiest for me to show picture, then share my Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Everything on shelf is permanent; stool, water bucket, hoses and water pump are set-up and broken down each fill session. Start by setting gun on white blanket (upper shelf) and connect fill whip. Fill water bucket and place on stool in sink. Assure water pump rear screen wide open, install hose, place in water. Attach both hoses to compressor and twist tie to bucket handle. Add ice bottles and allow water to chill for 20 minutes. Plug in water pump and pre-chill room temperature compressor to 18-degree C range. (Never pump chilled water to non-room temperature compressor.) Start rear 10-inch box fan on high. Assure drain valve on copper colored filter and both pressure-release valves on YH are open and crankcase oil level is correct. Start compressor, close three valves, during 3–5 minute fill normally open for split second each valve, one at a time, to release moisture. When gun gauge registers full open all valves, let machine run few seconds before shut-down. Water pump and box fan remain on. Release fill whip and replace with next gun to be filled. Fan and pump run till compressor cooled back to 18-degree C range and compressor feels cool to touch. Ice bottles may need replacing. Repeat SOP.

Sorry, that Quick-Disconnect female fitting came installed on the hose end when I bought my copper-colored filter. My guess would be a 10mm thread like you said.

I clearly overreasearched 🤣
As many YouTubes as there are on this topic, there are just as many suggestions as to how things should be done. I learned from Biohazardman, a very knowledgeable person on the Yong Heng, even he changed his mind on crankcase oil recommendations, so continuous research is a good thing. WM

Yall been in the pcp game man I just got the yong heng, off my setup right now after the copper I have a black an zero moisture I squeezed the pad down zero moisture at all 3200 psi or so on the 3 liter bottle, I been bleeding the yong heng moisture here an there as well as getting the copper on bled here an there quick spurts shots out puddles I tell you like I can see the water drops on the floor I may not have needed the tuxing damn the copper one is a doggg so looks like the copper one is catching a lot, The yong heng shut off once without bleeding I immediatly bled it but at 2 k psi, Its an old house power aint the greatest sometimes outlets cut out for a bit or whatever, So it shut off I bled it like 3 seconds after Hope it didnt damage it 2000 psi backpressure or whatever what do you think is that a big deal, Also should I bleed the oil bleed screw in the end of the fill or a couple times when im filling or what, At first I was bleeding it like the water, but realized it vents itself right? Also, oil getting dirty soon I will change but I dont got the perfect amount for a full fill can I add a couple oz of secolube into the husky full synth for the 1st oil change, Or can mixing the oils damage anything.? I finished my 3 liter bottle got it to 4200, But I stopped im like 40-70 minutes of run time on it id say oil started turning very very dark like the window would be grey black I drained all that now wonder if i can top off the last 3 oz with like secolube so like 7 oz husky 3 oz secolube.
