I'm attempting to supply clean dry air to my Zelos. Initially, this seemed like a good idea at the time, but after placing this up it appears that I have created a couple of water traps.
From my pump, I have a pressure line to a check valve and bleeder screw.
From that, it runs into a small desiccant chamber. there is a small amount of free space at the bottom of this chamber. I have considered removing the desiccant and leaving this chamber empty as a condensing chamber only.
The next larger gold tube is a desiccant / charcoal filter tube. I thought about removing the charcoal, but wondered if it would assist in removing oil.
Anyway... seems as though I need to figure out a way to rid those hose-traps as I'm guessing water can collect in those low spots.
I could place the pump, bleeder and the smaller filter *below* the countertop, and leave the larger tube above. I could mate two foster fittings directly between the two tubes and lose the middle hose entirely, remove the bleeder / check valve and run the hose below the counter to the pump.
Thoughts?
