help me decide between two Hawke scopes

Hawke Sport Optics 3-9x40 AO Sport HD Rifle Scope, 30/30 Duplex Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 1" Tube

what do you all think?

For back yard the 3-9 will be just fine not unless your back yard is bigger then a acre or two then I would go 4-12..

Get the Vantage Mil-Dot. I have one. You will enjoy it more than the Duplex reticle.
