N/A Help me make a poor financial decision:)

I had pretty much the same thing in mind. Though more focused on pure precision and long range. Kinda heavy for a walk around gun and not a repeater. I have other guns for that purpose already. As good as it gets and I've won the last two UFT matches with it.
It can also be set up as a dedicated BR rig in the configuration of the first photo.
LOl, I'd like to do the same thing again except have even more of my other ideas implemented.
Fat enough check and it can be had.

That is a looker. What is it? Would it be suitable for turkey nabbing In your opinion? I know you mentioned it’s heavy, but turkey hunting is a pretty stagnant anyway, and it certainly fits the beauty-bill, and also is clearly suitable for competition. your gun is deft standing out to me. Thanks for sharing.

Look at the FX Royale for sale in Classifieds. These are one of the BEST pellet shooters in classic rifle styling FX ever made & becoming hard to find. Good price too! Then, find a tactical/changeable gun to fill your other needs. Finding a "one size fits all" gun is like searching for a unicorn.
Noted. The thing I am taking away here is that if I want to buy something like an Alpha Wolf then that’s fine and on me, but the groups advice is that I shouldn’t be telling myself I wont buy another gun.

I guess my first priority then is something For hunting. I’ll get a comp gun later. alpha wolf should be excellent for hunting…just really effing expensive then for a single purpose.

RAW. An older one with the fine walnut stocks that Martin used to provide. It fits most of your criteria. First of all, it's made in the USA and is good to look at. It's a simple design and a lot easier to maintain than the newer FX and Daystate guns. Caliber can be changed. It's durable. It is tunable, although not as easily, but why do you want to continually mess with the tuning? Pick a common caliber, tune it, then forget it, or you can send it to Martin and he will set it up the way you want it. Finally, these are a bit less expensive than the complex European guns. I doubt you will find one gun that meets your criteria, but this one comes close.
is there a specific model you might recommend? Not sure who Martin is tbh, but finding a coveted older rifle with a coveted stock and tuning sounds difficult to find…

I’m surprised no one mentioned an AAA Evol HP. Not sure if they make a Paradigm HP. Quality build, spotty customer service from the manufacturer from what I can see. Nicely built rifles. You can hunt with them and compete with them. Although the owner of AAA now produces barrels as well. I can’t speak to the quality of his new barrels, but folks seem excited about them.

I own an older Evol. This is a suggestion, not an endorsement.

I would suggest a FX Crown, with a short 380mm barrel for woods walking, and a 500, 600 or 700 mm barrel for loooong range target shooting.

I had it written but I must have erased it when I was changing the text. It's a Thomas HPX. Edited my post as well. Turkey, yeah it'll hit a dime at 50Y every time if the wind is down. It's outshot my expensive rimfire often.

For me all this is too confusing, like do your own work, figure out what you Think you want and for what purpose, then ask questions ,for me too much advise in the respect you are not sure what you what...you now say a hunting rig,ok,then your choices are narrowed down..light weight, good accuracy,,easy to load and easy to aim. Now do you want a long gun or something like a Bullpup...What cost, what scope ,how to fill it is not one thing,it is a family of things.....

Enjoy the journey and don't worry too much about whether you'll buy another airgun (we know you will). If you can afford nice things, get yourself nice things. If I were in the market to make a very poor financial decision I'd consider American Air Arms Evol Paradigm to be a solid step in the right direction.

Don't just look at the ad. Research past posts & TRY to even find a complaint about the Royale platform. If I were offered a new Alpha Wolf in trade for my Royale I'd turn it down. All these guns are meant to do is be laser accurate straight out of the box with no tinkering, tuning, adjustments if you don't want to. That's ALL! They've been called "boringly accurate" by many but I NEVER get bored with it. I'm just grateful to have a shooter that checks all my boxes, EVERY time!

I had a buddy ask almost this exact question a couple months ago ago. He’s also in his 30’s and no financial limitations. I couldn’t answer his question. I could only answer questions so that’s how we started eliminating guns he perceived as high quality or long term keeper guns but they are not. It took quite a few replies but I knew someone would just have to drop the F word. I can say with more certainty than not, nothing in their lineup is what you’re looking for. I believe you’re looking for that next level so take your time and gather as much info as you can.

Wall hanger looks? Depends what you like but I agree, gotta be wood.

AAA Paradigm all day for me.
We’re spending money right? Get one in every caliber you’re interested in. Can mix it up between laminate stock and Walnut.

Screw the caliber changing idea, once you get a gun set up and perfect you won’t change it anyway.

As someone in my late 20's (29) I have gone through over 30 air rifles in just the last year and a half. Mostly aquired through trading, some actually bought, and with certainty I can say that there is no one gun lol. I've thought I had my one gun, but really, there will never be that one gun

UNLESS! You don't want to tinker around with guns, don't care for different calibers.

I have grown to appreciate many brands for what they all bring to the table, but so far my favorite is the Uragan 2. Selection of stocks are nice, and affordable, ambi-cocking, they are point and shoot accurate at long distance with low and high power. They can definitely be wall hangers imho.

I can’t seem to find any US vendors for the Thomas HPX. Do you know of any?
