Help needed with my new sight mark wraith NV scope

I bought my wraith a few months ago and never got to use it due to a surgery. So I finally got to mount it on my 25 cal airforce condor ss. I got it sighted in and during the day it works pretty well. So that night i wanted to try some night targets to see how it worked in the dark. I couldn’t get it to show up . It was on but couldn’t see anything. The torch was on. So my basic question is there a button I need to switch from day to night vision or does the scope do it automatically? Only other thing i forgot to check was if maybe the torch wasn’t at the right setting. Any help would be appreciated. Oh I forgot to mention I couldn’t find my scope instructions as I was 250 miles from home.

Yes the buttons on top the left has three modes two night and one day

I have the 4k max (it's a big heavy sucker!). On it, I have to go into the menu and switch to night mode. It's not the most user friendly menu, probably my only complaint. It works quite well with the supplied light IMO, an aftermarket light is supposed to be a big improvement.

The four way button on top works a couple different things when you turn it on. Front toggle increases magnification rear toggle decreases magnification. Left toggle scrolls through 3 windows, two night vision (black and white) and one normal day color.

They take some getting use to. Hitting on button twice puts you into setup mode allowing recticle change, one shot sight in ect. The list comes up on the left and you use the direction keys to navigate.
