hey fellas. my 1322 grip screws stripped the threads on my pistol. I am looking for a Chicago style screw or flat nut where the nut is threaded for a bolt. Or I'm open to ideas about upgrading the screws. Another option would be to jb weld it and retread it but I'm not sure it would be strong enough. Does anyone have a link to one or knows the correct size of bolt I need? Also if anyone has the link to a lighter trigger spring that would be cool too. Thanks dudes.

Threads in the gun frame are 6-32. Get an 8-32 tap and tap the frame straight thru, NOT FROM EACH SIDE. No need to drill it out. Get two 8-32 flat head counter sink screws by 1/2 long and your good to go. And quit over tightening the grip screws ! Crosman stocks and grips usually need to be shimmed to be tight, especially the stocks.

Yes bio the spring was brought up before I am just now getting around to it. As to YO...... Dude don't you know that this can be the most expensive pumper on earth? I've got 300 in this thing easy. BTW I also have a tap set I just thought there might be a better way by pinching both sides together. I'll probably just tap it and do the clamshell thing. I didn't even overtighten the screws that much so I wanted something stronger if I could.

I used a piece of 5/32” aluminum tubing. I drilled out the stripped hole and job welded it in. The aluminum is soft enough to be threaded with the steel screw. A bit of a hack, but it does work. Don’t over tighten!
