Tuning Help! Problem with cocking lever!

I loaded 5 pellets in the magazine. DAR .17. Inserted magazine, pushed cocking lever forward, pellet started forward and stopped. I applied gentle pressure but nothing moved. Pulled cocking lever back, magazine is stuck. Passed a .15 plastic trimmer line through the barrel and pushed and wiggled the magazine at the same time. Line went through magazine. Removed the magazine, pushed line in until I could see it in the receiver. Pulled line. Cocking handle will go forward until the large part of the pellet probe enters the throat of the barrel then stops. But cocking lever is not all the way forward. Also I don’t know where the pellets went..
Light does shine through the barrel.

I bet your pellet dropped into the transfer port. Having said they, I am not sure if how to help. I predict that you will need to remove the barrel from the action.

Found the pellet. It fell beside the pellet probe and lodged under it. Got it out. Cocking lever went all the forward. Fired the gun with no pellet. Now it won’t cock. Maybe a pellet is behind.

Cocking lever will go all the way back but won’t catch/engage. ???

You may have sheared off a bit if the pellet skirt. That small bit of trash may be interfering with the sear/hammer engagement. Can you take the bolt out to clean and inspect?

the pellet bits are stuck in the Hammer action, you will need to pull the hammer out and remove the debrie

Took the cocking lever pin out and was able to locate pellet under the bolt. Removed it. Everything works fine!
