Tuning Help Regulating an Evanix Sniper K in .22

Anyone have experience regulating a Sniper K in .22?

I plan to buy a HUMA reg. They say it's sent set at the most common reg pressure. Will this be perfect? I can also request a reg pressure.

I don't mind shooting only 1 pellet. (JSB) ...so if anyone knows the magic formula for this gun, let me know.

I don't want to "tune" this gun...I just want to drop in a reg and experience outstanding accuracy with 1 or more JSB pellets.

Thanks -Nate

Looks like a generous plenum. I think you should be fine and dandy with whatever preset it arrives with. If not, I'd lean towards turning the pressure up. Often times more accuracy is found at higher pressures. Reason being that the valve opens less. Lower volume, higher pressure burst of air expands sooner creating less muzzle blast and less turbulence. In theory, anyhow. But I have used this concept to retain power, and reduce report volume more than once.

The easiest way to regulate a gun is to use that Altraros regs. Rather than drilling a breathing hole in the tube and risk a mess up just screw the reg into the end. You will loose a lot of power although. Sometimes the valve return spring will need to be strengthened because you no longer the air pressure closing the valve shut as fast anymore.
