Tuning Help repairing my Diana 34 EMS trigger system.

Unfortunately I have had nothing but problems with this rifle since the date of purchase. I recently purchased a vortek tuner kit for it and the installation itself was straight forward, but the spring compressor I built was crap, and the end result was my safety spring got mangled. I have managed to bend it into a position where it is out of the way and works out of the housing, but the rifle does not come down all the way and successfully charges the spring. Any ideas what could be happening?

Are you able to engage & disengage the safety with no spring in at all?

You might want to get a new safety spring, or manually operate the safety. Don't trust it obviously. I've had springers and others fire upon closure of system and that's Uber dangerous. Usually due to need of trigger adjustment so piston can be caught by sear. I've seen PCP's & SSP's do it though. Not a issue to be taken lightly
Maybe you should just get something else since it's been a problem or a entire new trigger group. We haven't seen what happened but I am thinking spring or broken plastic tab.
