Help to identify an air rifle.

Hello!

I recently inherited several air guns, which I believe are mostly Daisy. I'm having trouble identifying some of them, like the one below, because there are no markings! Most are vintage, but I honestly can't tell. I'm not even sure what it shoots. It's in a red "Red Ryder" case, which know that doesn't mean much. Do you have any advice on what I should look for when identifying these air guns?

It's a Daisy Model 25 but the members who know way more about them will have to chime in to give you a better idea on how old it might be.

Yep, Daisy 25. Where was it manufactured?
Looks like an early Plymouth MI gun.

Thanks for the answers. I assume Plymouth, MI, is where it was manufactured? Are there any markings and or other distinguishable features I should look for to help pinpoint the exact year?

Using the Big Book of Air Guns, I think I've narrowed it down to a Model 25, Variant 5. Still not 100% sure, but maybe closer?
