Snowpeak Help with Disassembling the Cylinder on PP750

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to increase the power on the regulator of my PP750, but I've run into an issue while trying to disassemble the cylinder. After removing the cylinder from the pistol, I can't unscrew the metal cap. The cap is round and has four small holes that I assume are meant for a special tool to open it.

Unfortunately, I don’t have that tool. Does anyone have advice on how to make or improvise a suitable tool, or know an alternative way to unscrew the cap without damaging it?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Firewalker probably has you situated but I’ll just mention a few options. On occasion I’ve made a simple tool from a scrap of wood with holes drilled at the proper spacing to accept nails or drill bits.

Or check your local tool stores for a set of snap ring pliers. For example

Or sometimes you can get away with something as simple as small needle nose pliers
