FX Help with FX Panthera plenum valve tube end

If anybody has replaced the plenum in a Panthera your help will be needed. I have a 22 Panther Hunter Compact that I am turning into a 30 cal slug with 600mm liner/barrel.
I bought the magnum xl plenum FX 21020 and is a complete kit with the valve tube end (FX 21004) with all the orings that seal the plenum and fills with air. I noticed when I took it out of the box it does not have the part that has the 2 screws to make sure the barrel housing is clamped down and also sealed. I was told that FX 21004 the valve tube end is the new part that replaced the old FX 20938. Apparently the new type held in place by friction and seals. I am surprised that the compressed air is held in by the new valve tube end by 2 orings inside this part nothing else, no clamp, nothing. Can someone explain how this is possible???

I am guessing nobody knows the answer to my question?? However just me to clarify my long convoluted question… How does the part in the picture hold the compressed air in the plenum without the old style clamps of the previous version part. Apparently it has 2 rings inside. IMG_0545.png

I Can’t get hold of FX to ask but assuming that this is the new version this must make it more efficient or cheaper to make as well. The picture below is the old version, notice the clamp area where you put 2 screws.

I can only share my own personal experience with the panthera liner/ tube clamp system.
I had a 30cal barrel ( being the liner inside the tube) come loose and travel rearward jamming the magazine and ruining the brass port. This was caused by the three grub screws in the receiver, and the valve clamp being loose from the factory. The cure was to replace the port and then machine dimples for each grub screw to locate into, as well as tighten the valve clamp.
My guess is that due to previous failures from user over tightened clamps on the impact and panthera , FX have deleted the clamp in favour of the new friction system.
So, given my previous experience l would order the clamp version and give the barrel all the stability under pressure that it can....especially once you start playing with higher settings.

I think FX redesigned this part because some users have found that the older clamp version was causing accuracy inconsistency. Matt Dubber briefly mentioned loosening this clamp in a video that outlined the setup of his competition Panthera. The clamps purpose is to prevent the end user from accidentally pulling the barrel housing out of the plenum while it is still pressurized. It is not under any load from the pressure in the plenum itself, because the forces cancel each other. Think of it as a big fill probe.
