Help with FX Wildcat .25 in 12 ft/lbs

Please I have a problem with a FX Wildcat .25. For about three months I wanted to buy a FX Wildcat from AOA, but they didn't have them in stock, I live in Peru, my supplier told me that he found a store that have available Wildcats,so I paid it with my credit card. The rifle arrived yesterday, but sadly it was bought in a store from the UK, so it came with only 12 ft/lbs. Now it is shooting at 426 ft/second. I am very disappointed. Is there a way to change it to the normal 47ft/lbs? In my country there are no restrictions, so I am not making anything illegal.
Thanks for the help

Wow, it is a shame that the dealer you bought it from did not tell you this before you purchased it, Without knowing the FPS I would have said that a 25 caliber with only 12 fpe is not really much good for anything, I think the velocity you quoted pretty much backs that up. Maybe you could contact the dealer you bought it from and see if he can help you out and convert it to the FAC model with the more powerful valve. Good luck, I hope you manage to get this modified so it is of some use to you, all the best, Neil.

It is highly likely that your .25 has come direct from Sweden instead of via UK.

If your dealer can't offer a fix, contact an authorised dealer in USA or Sweden and ask them to source you the Wildcat .25 HP (High Power) Kit from FX. It'll set you back around $150+postage. Best to order from Sweden as it may cost you a lot more than $150 if buying from US supplier.

And if you have some basic tools, it'll take maximum 30 minutes to swap everything over. Johan at FX has done a how-to document with pictures for this upgrade.
