Tuning Help with Huma reg in Airmax Krait x.

It’s all about the blue circles. It’s the only difference. That’s why a fat pin gen 2 reg won’t fit in a gen 1.

It’s a rainy crappy day so I’m feeling helpful. The folks I bought my Krait from let me trade it back in. God bless them. After all the testing and tuning with that gun I didn’t care if they only gave me $50 for it on a trade. They were very reasonable on the trade so I just went with another M3 compact. I already own a M3 600mm in .25 and a Compact in .22 which are both slug guns. With lessons learned from that platform I set this .25 compact up as a pellet gun and have not touched a knob or added a do-dad since. Gun has been spot on since I got it and stupid accurate. As long as you don’t poke an Impact with a stick, they can be great guns. Light years better than that Krait was.

You are golden. Have a great 👍 and safe 4th. Bill and Addi.

That's
Send it back. They are qualified to fix it. At that price the gun should not be your problem.
That's the manometer hole you circled. The MK2 reg pin is too big for the hole, so MK1 block, MK2 reg. I will be taking to UA tomorrow and see what they will do. I'm going to ask for a MK2 replacement. Not holding my breath. Bill and Addi.

It’s not a manometer hole. The manometer hole is the threaded hole you unscrewed your gauge from. The blue circled holes are where your pin on the stock gauge goes through the block. This keeps everything in line as the reg works through its range between shots. You have damage on your manometer hole that I circled in my other pic. Shoddy gun. Put it in a box and ship it.

The blue and green circles are on the right side- manometer, the reg is on the left side.

That side of your gun is irrelevant. Mk1 and MK2 are the same.
Understood. I think I misunderstood the point. Bottom line is MK1 gun, MK2 reg. I don't know what differences in the block s are. Obviously the bigger pin hole ,but also the orientation of the reg gage air passage and its size being bigger on the MK2. If that's the whole difference then it might be worth a try just getting the correct reg and not fighting for a exchange for the MK2. usually a MK2 of any model has improvements over the MK1. I need to find out before I talk to UA. Bill and Addi.

This has nothing to do with any air passage anywhere. It’s 100% about the size of the reg pin hole near the gauge. Your gun is not right. Since you seem to be having difficulty understanding the one and very simple difference between a MKl and MKll block, I don’t think it’s in your best interest to be trying to diagnose the problem over the phone. Box it up and tell UA you want to return it for repair. It will be back in your hands in no time to play with and it will work.

All guns are MKl. The MKl guns got MKll blocks if owners cried to their dealers and if the dealers got a big enough shipment of blocks to do all their guns. I’m 99% sure from your picture that your block is a MKll. All you have to do is measure the gauge pin hole, the two blue circles in the pic I posted. If the hole above your gauge hole is around 2.5mm, game over, it’s a MKl block. Just measure it with calipers. If you don’t own digital calipers you really need to consider just sending the gun in for repairs.
