Looking back in an old dynamit nobel catalogue this little jewel looks interesting. I've never seen one in the wild or have ever heard of anyone having such a beast. Apparently you pump the cartridge up put a .22 pellet in and get up to 50 ft pds out of it. Did they ever even make it to production? Interested to see if anyone here has had one.

You'd have to throw a 15.9gr at 1200 FPS to get in the 50 FPE range.

I guess i can't understand how you seat a pellet in a cartridge to hold that much psi to do 1200fps? What is this cartridge made of?

From the article above, it appears that the cartridge is similar to a benji valve. Also appears that they were outlawed overseas because of people figuring out how to modify it. lol , if it can be done, someone will do it.

I vaguely recall looking into these cartridge adapters for center fire rifles. They look very similar but used gun powder or a primer for the propellant.

The old Brocock rifles appear on the some of the forums for sale from time to time and used to be reasonably priced.
