Here's a ?

I right now have a Benjamin NP 1500 with an upgraded trigger. It is a .177 I want to upgrade to a .22cal I am hitting dimes at 30yards I want a bigger call for more hitting power.
Is going to a PCP worth the money or should I just go with another Benjamin?
I'm using the gun to shoot squirrels off the bird feeder and as a way to stay in woods when freezer has enough deer in it, to stay out there shooting squirrels.
I like my gun a lot, but it the extra money for a PCP worth it?

Ya..... squirrels tend to like my bird feeder also. Pic taken yesterday.

Big step up in money going to a PCP including the filling equipment. If you want an accurate spring gun....... An Air Arms TX200 is one of the more accurate spring guns available. Nice beautiful gun for the money. I have one and will always keep it.
I love my PCPs and I shoot a lot. They are lighter and generally more accurate than a spring gun. The Marauder is affordable in the PCP gun world. All depends on what you are willing to spend.

Roon, Yes. A PCP is worth the money. Goodtogo is right that is a great way to see if you are really going to like it. But I have to say, You are going to like it and will be buying a multi shot, 25 cal., shrouded barrel, tack driving, precission shooting machine before the year is out. Remember I told you so.
Welcome to the dark side. Now get that thing ordered.

If your in good shape and dont mind pumping you can buy a decent PCP with a pump for under $550. AoA had the Brocock Contour s6 for $395. It took me around 50 full pumps(Benjamin pump) to get 21 shots at 23 FPE. Brocock's are made in England with quality parts and a name brand barrel, the Contour has a small reservoir and they air efficient.

I was in decent shape at the time but pumping got old fast. If your going to be doing a lot of shooting a tank with a place to get it filled is recommended. If you do buy a PCP I recommend getting the 10 shots for $10. The 10 for 10 tests for leaks and they also shoot the gun 10 times to see if their is any problems.

Air gun depot and pyramyd air have sales or rebates on Hatsan/Mauraders. They also have refubs once in awhile. Field Supply sells refub Hatsans.
