Josh, I see you're in the UK so 12 fpe rifle?? If it is, you can put either of the Hawke Vantage scopes you linked on the Remington. I know Hawke says they're not rated for springers over 12 fpe, but I've got a dozen or so of their Vantage scopes, all with IR and all of them are on 15-18fpe springers and have yet to have one fail.
The IR versions have an etched glass reticle vs. the wire reticle on the standard versions and the etched glass holds up better to springer recoil.

Did not catch uk.. so looking i think it's odd hammers dont have a avenue to or in the uk for his air rifle Scopes.. serms lots like them on springers here . Mildot magnum springer rated .

All them air gun guys over there youd think good sales..

Oh well sorry i suggested them..

Good luck

They are better suited to be used as a hammer, rather than optic
I have a 3-9x40 Hammers scope. It's taken a beating on several springers, 2 of those during break in and still holds zero nicely.
On the flip side, I've also read any number of stories about shooters getting garbage ones. They're like anything else you might buy in life these days: pay your money and take your chances.

Mantis has a 3-9x40 AO Mil-Dot scope that is been made for heavy springers.

I use to say an scope and springer id like a dice roll. You hope you dont get snake eyes . With that under $100 you maybe playing with loaded dice..

Of you save up another $50 catch a sale you can get a "better" scope + them should have the no questions asked lifetime . Of it busts just send it in for repair or replacement..

To me this aint bad
Side focus, etched recital , should have the no questions lifetime.
