HFT Challenger by Airgun Revisions

Interesting new product, looking forward how it performs in its very specific task. May want to consider someone with more tact handling your public outreach.

That is a very nice/tactful way of putting it. Pardon me for not “tip toe” around but by not providing information, condescending when asked of important details and not clear with information isn’t the best way to attract customers. But hey, like the old wise used car salesman have said: there is an a$$ for every seat but certainly won’t be my a$$. 🤣😂🤣

Separate note, trying to push a business and website on this forum without a validated/vetted vendor account is rather…….different. Surprised mods haven’t stepped in yet.

As stated some will want to shoot 8.4's, others 10.3's, other heavier 13.4 finding what shoots best and deals with wind.
Speeds NEED TO BE ADJUSTABLE for this to happen IMO. If this rifle Is Not adjustable in this way it will be a major black eye for this version of the challenger and those prospective buyers may think twice and go elsewhere.

If your going to do your best in getting this right at introduction, This IS important !!!

I'm not speaking out of my arse here either .... 10+ year FT shooter, Commercial tuner etc ....

Constructive criticism only ! Wish you the best of luck in this venture.
The gun is set for 10.3’s
It can be adjusted lower for 8.5
13’s are at 18 fbe

I’ve consulted a friend of mine Tyler Patner on the build plus everyone shooting FT in a couple different clubs.
I get what your saying totally. This is a grab and go beginner setup but with more bells and whistle’s.

….Not power adj so you don’t screw it up….
And again no so customers don’t mess it up…

I’m confused now. Is power adjustable or not? You’ve stated both.

If it is adjustable how easy is it to adjust?

Velocity screw
You can back it down for 8.5 but the gun out of the box won’t exceed 18.5 fpe

thank you for not buying from me. I owe some gratitude for that. FYI, Michael knows exactly who I am and what I’ve done for the industry. Most higher up’s do.

Saw this gun at the recent Finger Lakes GP and spoke with Airgun Revisions about it. As a low cost entry into FT I believe it fills the category nicely.

Serious question: Does he come across better in person? I know sometimes people are better at spoken communications than written.

That isn't a knock, but just curious.

All I can say is this, I have spoken with Rich numerous times not in person, sent him a rifle to customize and build (one which I still own), and hes a great guy from the many lengthy discussions ive had with him. He does great work and his customers come first.

If I was challenged and criticized as was done through out this thread, I would have come across much worse than the OP did.
And noticed how the challengers find it ok to act as they do but its not ok for the reaction, very similar to a lot of todays problems (people).

I wasn't trying to defend either side. I just know that sometimes things in text get misinterpreted. So, I wanted to know how @PaAirGunner interpersonal, face to face went was all.

I have no skin in the game, and was not trying to stir the pot. My apologies if that is what I did.
I’m a teddy bear. My thing is that I’m way too open and blunt is all. I don’t beat around the bush and I’m seriously honest. But my true reputation speaks for itself throughout the Airgun industry. And if you truly want to know just call. My number is both on my website and also listed on Crosman’s repair centers page.

My ,My My,LOL....gotta say reminds me of high school, nothing wrong with that.
What I get from all of this is some people like to mess with things, others do not trust them to mess with things.
Trust me,I know what is best for what you are doing.
The way I see it is this, use the gun for what it was designed for.....
There are "guns" designed for specific ammo,so 10.3....now you can adjust it to 7.8 ,but that will be your choice and you have to experiment.
Truthfully I get tired of adjusting things, let me set the drag pressure and tension, and that is it......
I am pretty irreverent.
A song called raa -purr that is French, Italian would be forgetaboutit, and Nixon, trust me.

Lol. Yeah, simplicity is what my goal will always be. I’ve just had three of these guns up at a major Ft event and it was a hit.
