HFT rules?

Wondering if 20ftlbs is the limit for this class? Reason I ask is at extreme Benchrest there seemed to be many guns used that were over this limit? Or was it because this was not a sanctioned event? And curious how many events can you use a gun over 20ftlbs? I am totally confused as usual! Would like to shoot a .22 impact in some of these events but don’t believe I can tune it that low?

There are several versions of airgun "Field Target". These I know of:

WFTF rules - USA and world, 12fpe 
HFT world rules - not common in USA, 12fpe
AAFTA Hunter Division - USA, 20fpe
AAFTA Open Division - USA, 20fpe
American Field Target - at Extreme Bench Rest, 65fpe & 15Ofpe

Hi, American style hunter class field target is limited to 20ftlbs. This not only places everyone on a relatively equal playing field, it also saves wear and tear on the knock down targets. It’s an awesome sport, full of the nicest people you will ever meet. Hope you are able to give it a try.
