High end .30 caliber PELLET rifles?

I really need to ad a .30 caliber PELLET rifle to my line up , I have no interest in playing the slug game , looking for something to generate 75 plus fpe.

What are your suggestions? What have you shot? What .30 do you own?

Not into looking at any daystate or fx rifles.

The evol .30 is one I've always looked at and wanted but it's big $$ (not opposed to spending if worth it), the raw chassis rifles in .30 was another... also the prophet 2 recently caught my eye

Anyways just looking to hear your thoughts guys

The cricket n the prophet..in .30 are more suitable for pellets. The prophet has a plus that in comes compact..and it has all 20" of barrel in compact form so power is not compromised.. in .30 I have a uragan 1 ..the way is turned it shoot knockouts slugs awesome.. n fx hybrids.. not much of a pellet shooter.. I only found tha it liked a bit the fx 44 but no jsb pellet.. for me is awesome because I only wanted to shoot slugs..n the knockouts came out at a perfect time...I was a long gun guy..but after having powerful enough bullpubs there is no way of me to use a long gun again.. they should make all the AAA bullpubs only.. a .30 slayer that is another thing..

There is no better alternative in the market for the price that an Airgun Technology rifle: Uragan, Vulcan 3, Uragan 2.

You may buy more expensive rifles but not better ones. No matter how much you invest.

You may find cheaper rifles of course. But with time you will notice.

Once you know the truth, take your choice.

So with that said can you drag the AGT rifles through the mud for a mile behind a truck and nothing will have suffered?

I am not in the mood of destroy what I paid for.

I am just a hunter and I like to hit adequately at what I shot.

There are some videos of show extreme tests of resistance of rifles.I would never do it.

CT,
Why not join those of us patiently waiting on Krales (Netherlands) to finally get the Uragan 2 in stock? It's a U2 Synthetic stock .30 700mm, for me. Willing to pay more, head over to Talon Tunes, he's already filling orders. Already enjoy the .30 caliber in my FX Wildcat MK3 Sniper, 814 fps @ 66 fpe with JSB 44.75 grain, interested in the higher powered U2 for the same pellet. WM

Showoff the miss use eh? You mean like actually testing them? Comment is a little arrogant and a tad insulting.

English is not his first language so his replies can be a little confusing at times.
I don't think he meant to be arrogant or insulting. I believe he's a good and respectable man.

I think if I was interested in a 30 and didn’t feel like messing with multiple regs, harmonic concerns and just wanted a set it and forget it gun, I think I would try a Cricket Tactical. I had one ordered and paid in full for a very long time but eventually got the bad news that he wasn’t importing 177’s. My second choice, with a slight cringe, would be a Maverick. If I’m only shooting pellets, that cuts the concerns about an FX easily in half.

Dana I just was trying to give response to CT.

Please do not take it personal.

If I ever look arrogant for sure it was not my intention, for sure. There is nothing that I could showoff.

I take care of never insult anyone. Never. I am not in a possition to do it.

CT asked me if I could drag one of my rifles. The answer is no. I just can't even if I get paid to do it. Not even if it is a científic test, and that is because I was educated to take care of my belongings and to respect other ones belongings.

If I would make a test destroying anything, I would hear the voice of my mother saying:

"Very bad Enrique, you may not broke what The Lord gave you and that other people could want to have or what they could need. "

So, the answer to CT is.... Nop, I won't drag my rifle to get to know how much it resist.

I am with you on that thought, I also think Dana is too, his video was merely for testing purposes and I can almost guarantee as a man who uses his tools in field work he too probably takes the utmost care of his rifles.

Sorry my comment brought this discussion here, text can leave a lot to be desired over voice conversations.

The hell the evol went through just is impressive and as I find myself using my rifles more for out in the field than plinking , that speaks volume. Only reason I brought it up.

The uragan 2 is def something I need to do more research on though. I have no experience with agt rifles.

To Dana's credit he is still using that EVOL dragged through the dirt right along with some of its battle scars. Minimal repairs and still a beast.

No question about it though in my mind, the EVOL is a purpose built airgun. Not a tinkerers dream.

From my hands-on experiences I would recommend both an AGT Uragan or a Cricket II. I've had a .30 Uragan and it is a great gun - no question it could stand some abuse or banging on tree branches. The Cricket II I've had in .22, but have seen Derick's posts with his .30 and feel it would also be a good option, although not quite as robust as the Uragan. The exposed rotating magazine of the Cricket could be a weakness, whereas the Uragan's magazine is enclosed in a sturdy metal frame.
