High end airgun recommendation

I currently have a UX Notos and it’s been amazing, did a bottle mod and improved the shot count to 150 and power as well just a bit, but I’m looking to upgrade in the near future
So I’m wondering if any of these is a good upgrade as well (my main purpose is pigeon hunting and pesting of other birds and also squirrels and other such pests)

The Maverick is a proven platform. It's an FX so parts availability and schematics are pretty readily available. But there's quite a few o-rings in most FX guns. But the Maverick is far from the worst. But be prepared to deal with potential POI shifts.

The Ghost is a Brocock. So it's most likely going to be incredibly reliable. For the most part, you should be able to get the parts you need. It's just an expensive gun, but so far it seems like it's worth it.

The Vulcan is on it's third generation so it's got most of the kinks worked out already. It's a pretty solid gun. AGT isn't as big of a company as FX or Brocock/Daystate so parts availability probably isn't as good, but should still be good enough.

Epic is a fairly new company, so long term parts availability is unknown. I'm not sure if the One is out yet. If it is, I haven't seen any reviews yet. The Two should be similar enough though. It seems like there's been some minor issues with a few of those, but overall, they sound like they're good guns.

Fx maverick - tuneable and can shoot slugs.

Ghost - somewhat tuneable, CANNOT shoot slugs.

V3 - reg is internal so it would take work to tune, but they hardly ever need work or a tune out of the box. Shoots slugs, can be louder. Uragan 2/3 would be a better alternative if you need a quieter gun in the same family.

Epic one - cz barrels shoots both slugs/pellets, can't speak much on past that.

from the daystate, fx, and a few other rifles i have owned and shot, my favorite, most dependable shooter is my taipan mutant (predecessor to the veteran). Taipan makes an incredible platform. It was my first high end pcp, almost 10 years ago, and still my favorite.

AGT Vulcan 3 may be a solid performer but it also has its limitations and here are just a few of them in no particular order:
1. Pistol grip on the smaller side
2. In .25cal it's a .255 barrel or something so may "need" larger slugs, harder to obtain
3. Like mentioned, very old school, meaning rugged but tuning one is a pain. You should either have enormous reservoir of air at your disposal OR just find the slug that works well with the stock tune

@CimpatYli for hunting and pesting I love my Edgun Leshiy 2. It's powerful, accurate and compact/light. Although you cannot go wrong with the above suggestions either. I have an FX Impact as well, and love it too.

Ghost HP is a good pellet shooter, a bit heavy but robust.
Maverick is a great rifle.as well, cheaper to swap barrel and such, larger mags and will shoot slugs.
The vulcan is good, just buy one from @zx10wall, or one he has tuned, he is a tunemaster on those.
The Epic, idk. I am kinda anti Wolfiek group in general, they are all heavy and have an AEA base concept, which is known for high power, low reliability.

What is the power level on your L2?

If an L2 is compact, it is not powerful. They gain power from barrel length. Compact and powerful reqires a bullpup. A Leishy 2 is lightweight, accurate and a fast cycler.

- .22 with 350mm barrel (60 joules), 25gr
- .25 with 450mm barrel (80 joules)
both are relatively compact, it depends on the moderator. I use long ones to shoot in my backyard, but it's more compact if you take a shorter moderator.

You can easily tune for even more power, but then you sacrifice shotcount and noise level.
@Scotay42 : the question is what is enough power? For shooting rats, squirrels and birds I consider my guns as plenty powerful. But there's always a more powerful gun of course. When I shoot my rats in the head they don't mind a few joules more or less

I have the .30 Maverick Sniper and a bunch of Notos.

One thing you need to be aware of is the drastic weight differences!

Compact to me is under 30in, which neither of thkse are, but to each their own. Just in comparison to the the others that the OP listed it is under the mark in that aspect. Nothing against the Leishy 2, but they are much longer than bullbups with the same poweris all. I love an L2 myself, but yes if you want a shot count, they lose it fast when you raise the power up.

My first purchase was the Maverick and absolutely love it. I had UA set it up because I am new to PCPs and wanted something I didn't have to mess with.
