March Optics makes a great product, so bad mirage would probably more depend on the day's weather conditions rather than the glass at full power.The mirage is probably horrific I would think. It's kinda unavoidable with that much magnification. I guess it depends on the application. kevin
Yeah, their multiple ED glass elements cut down on aberrations and mirage. But mirage can be your friend if you know how to read it. My friend shoots at maximum magnification always. Sometimes he hooks it up with a scope cam and computer monitor and shoots using the screen and a remote trigger. Doing that I don't remember any times where mirage was significant.The mirage is probably horrific I would think. It's kinda unavoidable with that much magnification.
