Hill Mk5 grease

Hi,

I use Hill Mk5 to pump my Steyr EVO 10. Hill recommends their own silicone grease for the pump but it's difficult to obtain where I live. Would any other NLGI 2 class silicone grease do here? It would be best if you could recommend something I could also apply on the Steyr seals; would e.g. Molykote 55 be ok for both the pump and the seals? The price does not matter as I do not shoot much, it's all about availability.

Yes, a generic silicone grease will work fine, although from my experience with not just Hill pumps but across multiple brands, grease is too viscous. Most people use silicone oil at 30 or 40 weight. It is commonly sold as shock oil for RC cars or as treadmill lubricant.

Like nervoustrig said above, treadmill silicone oil, can purchase from amazon.....
