Umarex HK MP5 Convert to Full Auto?

For anyone that has one and opened it up, if anyone has, could this semi auto be made full automatic?

There are lots of full auto BB guns, so in a way it doesn't really make sense not to make it select fire. I have a Crosman DPMS SBR that is lots of fun, if the MP5 came that way I would already have gotten one.

I see they still make KWC full metal uzis, so that's an option

I ended up on Umarex's Europe web page by accident, and on the home page was featured a full auto MP5. They do make one. I found your question because I'm typing different google searches to get back to it.

There must be such a patchwork of laws and regulations that the full auto MP5 isn't legal to export to the US? Maybe? So far, the only gun law I've found is that in the UK, if the airgun is over 1 joule of energy per shot, it counts as a firearm, and falls into the laws governing firearms. The UK left the EU, so I don't that's relevant, or the law could be left over from the EU membership.

If it is illegal to export, would it be legal to own once it got here in the US? I've noticed that Umarex's full auto air guns have a lower FPS, down around 400 to 600 FPS. Is this to get below the 1 joule limit? Is he one joule limit even a law outside the United Kingdom?
