Hi 

I'm tuning and modding my raw hm1000x pre air force 25 cal running a huma reg at 155 bar opened the barrel port to .200 rounded and polished edges in the valve heavier hammer spring on a ssg peek poppet at .300 which is smaller than the original shooting 34 gr jsb mk 2 pellets also polished hammer channel and hammer really good and am running ptfe sleeve in the front half for the hammer to ride on tested at 3500 psi fill 34 gr mk2 jsb pellets and got 954 fps I added a 25 cc external plenum which I got from a forum member tested it today with no other adjustments and it hit 998 fps I'm going to detune to about 880 to 900 fps by loosening ssg adjustment and lowering the reg for more efficiency and shot count

Took off 9 grams from the hammer 68 to 59 shot a mag over the Chrono and got 894 to 904 may have to tighten up the ssg gap a little yet also but it is coming along it's alot quieter and shot cycle isn't as long either I haven't got it back into the chassis yet still have a couple adjustments to make for ssg to try to keep the spread lower then I'll fit it into the chassis with the plenum and take pics I'm waiting for my rings to get here yet to so I can put on my new gen 2 helos 6-24x56 that came yesterday

Great you have achieved it in the correct way.

Now you should be able to adjust from 894 fps to 980 fps just by adjusting ssg.

Yes thanks for your help it should give me a lot of shots to I'll get some pics of it in the chassis to . I'm thinking about having the chassis painted I know a guy who does a very nice job I was thinking of doing a battle worn white is what he calls it I believe he uses duracoat and paints it white then goes around the gun and sands off some white here and there to make it look like paint is wearing from use I had one done a couple years ago and it looked great

I'm still working on making a new moderator for my HM1000x .25 Red LRT. No external plenum, Huma reg or and used Peek hammer tip - reg. set to 140 bar. Going for more of a moderate tune. We'll see...

I understand that peek hammer tip is not really needed. Peek valve and peek regulator seat is needed if you use original RAW regulator. Since you are using Huma reg you only need valve with peek seat and a well built plenum. 

The plenum that I sent to Airgunman is time tested with me and results are great.

I get 70 good shots with 34 grain jsb at 60 ftlb in one fill.
