Well I did a shot count and I'm thinking I got to much hammer spring tension yet got 60 shots low one shot was at 897 high shot was 939 throw out the low single shot and still have 38 fps spread to much hammer spring yet and I don't think my ssg gap is quite small enough but 60 shots with 34 gr with a 3500 psi fill isn't bad going to shorten the spring one coil so I can loosen the ssg more try to get power down to 890 to 900 fps may also try 140 on the reg opinions will be great thanks Mark

I sought the services of my machinist and a carpenter.
The machinist made a mandrel of a bit less dia than the plenum. The carpenter initially made a hole of the dia of mandrel. Then enlarged the straight hole very gradually.
It took time and patience but the end result is great.
In fact I had to be extremely conscious as in case I ruin the stock I could not import one more.

Spread is not upto the mark. I understand if your spread comes to single digit near 900fps, you will get 70 good shots.

You may try by increasing the reg pressure a bit and installing a bit harder valve return spring.
This should reduce your extreme spread.
I hope RAW / AIRFORCE will not beat me for all this here

Yeah makes sense I think I will shorten my spring one coil or less to be able to get my ssg a little looser to reg pressure up to 150 may do what I need stiffer spring could help to where did you find one on line or some place else I'll get the fps down to single digits where I want it it may just take some time to get the settings just right is all

I'm impressed with the plenum increase of power/ efficiency made a big difference just need to do a little balancing act is all

Agreed I'm going to up the reg and test it then I may also have to find a heavier valve spring

I will when I pull the cover off to get spring measurements it will have to come apart any way want to check my valve stem that I made from cold rolled steel see how it's holding up

I know the throat measures like .256 made new peek poppet to look the same as old one but size is smaller by like .050 poppet measures .300 of a inch and top port is over 6 mm I can't remember exactly what size it was

I could have probably made 65 shots on that string I was still at 927 fps when I quit on it because spread grew to large

Hoping to get some time in this weekend I'm going to up the reg to 150 or so and pull out the poppet to check my valve stem make sure it is good being made from cold rolled steel I don't know how it will hold up I'll pull the valve and post picks of it it with my poppet and get some measurements for a different stiffer spring also if I get time this weekend I'm hoping

Also got to drop off my chassis for a guy I know he's going to paint it for me or dura coat it I believe
