RAW Rapid HM1000 rebuild screw up. I’m stuck.

Just loosen the bottle. The seal will pop and you will degas the system. This is normal. Or loosen the gauge or the fill nipple and slowly SLOWLY crack it loose.

Then you can see what is going on with the rifle. My guess would be something was assembled wrong or missing.
I can not unscrew the bottle. The reg is unscrewing from the block and there is no way to hold it with the stock.

I have early model HM1000 with a stock that wrapped around the bottle. I wish I could say that I disassembled everything and modified the stock. The truth is, I was in a hurry one day, forgot, and just pulled the thing apart, instantly breaking those ears off the stock. The good news, it broke almost perfectly symmetrical, and a few minutes work made it look like it was made that way, best scew up ever! I don't understand the reports that people can easily turn that V block under pressure. Mine doesn't turn until I have removed the bottle and drained the plenum. I don't think that you would do any harm by cracking the foster fitting or gauge to drain. But your best bet is to wait for Martin.

After some phone calls of field target buddies to people in the know I was told to back the gauge out. A could 1/8 turns and pssssssss.

Now to figure out what I did wrong when I replaced the orings.

Thanks for all the help.
Glad you were able to degass it and I hope you quickly figure out the issue! 🤗
