RAW Rapid HM1000X FPS question

As I’m completely new to the PCP world I have no idea where to start as far as adjustments if even needed.

Can hammerspring be adjusted and no reg adjustments to make it a little less complicated on me?

This is the chassis with no shroud.

On my Garmin Xero c1 pro
I’m seeing pretty consistent 950ish fps with JTS dead center 29.63 pellets.
My apologies I had JSB on the original post.
250 bar on the gauge which is another question on whether these gauges are pretty close?
Not wanting to damage anything if I overfill.

40 yards its placing same hole numerous times.

Any help or advise is appreciated.

The hammer spring adjuster does have some effect on speed. I prefer shooting pellets between 830 and 880 fps. They tend to be more accurate for me in that range. Not to mention better efficiency( less air use) , and better ballistic coefficient . I may add that if you find it accurate and don’t mind the lower shot count, leave it right where it is , buy a pile of pellets and stick to them. I’ve never seen prices for pellets go down even with the odd sale.

Sounds like I need to leave it alone I guess.
I’m just curious about the tuning aspect of it maybe down the road.
I’ve actually run jsb 33.95 and haven’t checked velocities yet on them but I’ve also not noticed a whole lot of difference in weight or brand.
I’m sure there is and will figure it out soon enough.

What I needed to hear!
I’m guilty of wanting to tinker and tweak stuff too much!

Leave well enough alone!
Nothing wrong with wanting to tune the rifle you have. If you haven’t already , search tuning a regulated rifle and enjoy the read. There are a few ways to go about it but as long as you remember you want a small drop in the velocity from your max regulator setting. Let’s say 5% . This will conserve the most air per shot and balance out the hammer and regulator.

-Max out hammer spring, shoot over chrony
-Reduce hammer spring until you see a slight drop in speed, if speed decreases with little hammer adjustment , your regulator is set higher than your hammer can open it.
-if your speed is too low from the regulator setting increase set point. ( I don’t think you have that problem)
The RAW HM1000x is a simple rifle to work on as long as you’re not going too far into it for power and internal mods. Enjoy the new rifle.

Thanks for the explanation.
I appreciate all the help I can get as far as learning this rifle and it’s capabilities.
I’ll probably run some pellets of various weights and brands and learn what it likes.
Then start the tuning.
Really have enjoyed it so far!

I've found that the gage on my HM reads 20 bar low compared to the gage on my tank which I think is closer to the actual pressure. So I fill the gun just a tad beyond the 250 bar reading.

I’m using the Rovair compressor and am not quite sure of its gauge either..
Just stick to the rifle gauge for now.
Unless there’s options that won’t be too difficult to justify?

Down the hill in polk nc now . Used to be in little river towards Pisgah . Trout fished north mills all the time years ago . Probably 1 hour and a half down 26 . If you find yourself in a jam with your reg and need a rebuild or advice reach out in the pm's and I could maybe make a run up the grade to lend a hand. Small world indeed . ;):coffee:
Yep we are close for sure!
Stay safe in the fires y’all are having right now.
Smoke is terrible up here.
PM sometime and we can get together .

The easiest way to adjust these rifles is with the regulator. But honestly they come really well set up from the factory, so there is really no need to mess with anything.

Keep it simple and enjoy shooting the rifle. If you wanted a rifle that you had to fiddle with....... you should have went with an FX. LMAO

Yeah I know ...... I had to though :D LOL

The Raw rifles just shoot great out of the box and no fiddling is needed. But if you need to twist knobs and tinker an FX rifle is for you. Don't get me wrong they are fun to tinker with that is for sure, but if you want to shoot.... look else where ;)
That’s why I returned the Avenge x!
Didn’t want to work on stuff🤬
